A bit of our after-school conversation from yesterday afternoon:
ME: So tell me, buddy, what letter are you learning this week in preschool?
PARKER: The letter N!
ME: Oooh that’s a good one! Can you tell me a word that starts with N? (assuming he’d say “nest”, or some other smallish word)
PARKER: (thinking for a minute, then grinning...
